Clay Walker is an American country music artist who rose to fame in the 1990s. He was born on August 19, 1969, in Beaumont, Texas. Walker's musical career took off with the release of his debut album, "Clay Walker," in 1993, which spawned his first hit single, "What's It to You." He followed up with several successful albums throughout the 1990s and early 2000s, including "If I Could Make a Living" and "Rumor Has It."
Throughout his career, Walker has charted more than 30 singles on the Billboard country charts, with a number of them reaching the top 10. Some of his other well-known songs include "Live Until I Die," "Dreaming with My Eyes Open," and "The Chain of Love." In addition to his musical success, Walker is also known for his philanthropic efforts, particularly in supporting multiple sclerosis research, as he was diagnosed with the disease in 1996.
