They released their self-titled debut album in 1972, which blended elements of country rock, folk, and rockabilly. The album received critical acclaim for its tight musicianship and soulful vocals.

Clean Living disbanded in 1973 after releasing only one album. Despite their brief career, the band has gained a cult following among fans of 1970s rock music.
