Cliff Richard is a British pop singer, musician, actor, and philanthropist who rose to fame in the late 1950s and early 1960s. Born Harry Rodger Webb on October 14, 1940, in Lucknow, India, he adopted the stage name Cliff Richard and is known for hits such as "Living Doll," "Summer Holiday," and "We Don't Talk Anymore." Richard is considered one of the most successful British artists of all time, with over 250 million records sold worldwide. He has received numerous awards and accolades throughout his career, including a knighthood in 1995 for his services to music and charity.


The Drifters were an American R&B vocal group formed in 1953. They are known for hits such as "Save the Last Dance for Me," "Under the Boardwalk," and "Up on the Roof." The group underwent numerous lineup changes over the years, with several distinct periods of success. The Drifters were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1988, recognizing their influence on the genre. Cliff Richard collaborated with The Drifters on several occasions, including recording a version of "Living Doll" with them in 1959.
