ConFunkShun is an American R&B and funk band formed in Vallejo, California in 1969. The group's original members included Michael Cooper, Louis A. McCall, Karl Fuller, Paul "Maceo" Harrell, Dennis Johnson, Cedric Martin, and Danny "Sweet Man" Thomas. ConFunkShun's music is characterized by a blend of funk, soul, and R&B, with hits such as "Ffun," "Chase Me," and "Love's Train."
The band gained popularity in the 1970s and 1980s with their energetic live performances and catchy songs. They released several successful albums on the Mercury Records label, including "Loveshine," "Candy," and "7." ConFunkShun continues to perform and tour, delighting audiences with their infectious grooves and soulful vocals.
