Connie Francis, born Concetta Rosa Maria Franconero on December 12, 1938, is an American pop singer and actress. She rose to fame in the late 1950s and 1960s with hit songs such as "Who's Sorry Now?", "Lipstick on Your Collar", and "Stupid Cupid". Francis became one of the top female artists of the era and was known for her versatile vocal range and emotional delivery. She recorded music in multiple languages, including English, Italian, and Spanish, and was one of the few female artists to write her own songs.


In addition to her successful music career, Connie Francis also ventured into acting, appearing in films such as "Where the Boys Are" and "Follow the Boys".
