Connie Stevens is an American actress, singer, and director, born on August 8, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York. She gained fame in the late 1950s and 1960s for her work in films and television. Stevens began her career as a singer, releasing several albums and singles throughout the 1960s. She also appeared in a number of popular films, such as "Rock-A-Bye Baby" and "Palm Springs Weekend." Stevens is perhaps best known for her role as Cricket Blake in the television series "Hawaiian Eye," which ran from 1959 to 1963.
In addition to her acting and singing career, Stevens also worked behind the camera as a director and producer. She directed several television episodes and made-for-TV movies in the 1980s and 1990s. Stevens continues to be involved in the entertainment industry, making occasional appearances in films and television shows.
