Connie Stevens is an American actress, singer, and director, born on August 8, 1938, in Brooklyn, New York. She gained fame in the late 1950s and 1960s for her work in films, television, and music. Stevens began her career as a singer, releasing several pop albums in the early 1960s. She also appeared in a number of popular films during this time, including "Rock-A-Bye Baby" and "Palm Springs Weekend."


Stevens is perhaps best known for her television work, particularly her role as Cricket Blake in the TV series "Hawaiian Eye" from 1959 to 1963. She also appeared in other TV shows such as "77 Sunset Strip" and "Maverick." In addition to her acting and singing career, Stevens has also worked as a director, directing episodes of TV shows such as "CHiPs" and "Baywatch."
