Artist Bio:
Country Joe & The Fish was an American psychedelic rock band formed in Berkeley, California in 1965. The band was well-known for their politically charged lyrics and their energetic live performances. They were one of the prominent bands in the 1960s counterculture movement and became famous for their anti-Vietnam War protest songs.

The band's most famous song is "The Fish Cheer/I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die Rag," which they performed at the Woodstock Festival in 1969. The song became an anthem for the anti-war movement and is often considered one of the most significant protest songs of the era. Country Joe & The Fish released several albums throughout the late 1960s and early 1970s, including "Electric Music for the Mind and Body" and "I-Feel-Like-I'm-Fixin'-to-Die." Despite several lineup changes over the years, the band continued to perform and record music until the early 1970s.
