Artist Bio:
Cowboy Copas was an American country music singer and guitarist born on July 15, 1913, in Muskegon, Michigan. He began his music career in the 1940s, gaining popularity for his honky-tonk style and high-pitched vocals. Copas became a member of the Grand Ole Opry in 1946, solidifying his place within the country music industry.

Throughout his career, Cowboy Copas released numerous hit songs, including "Filipino Baby" and "Signed, Sealed and Delivered." He also collaborated with other country music legends, such as Eddy Arnold and Red Foley. Tragically, Copas's life was cut short in a plane crash on March 5, 1963, along with other notable country music figures Patsy Cline and Hawkshaw Hawkins. Despite his untimely death, Cowboy Copas left a lasting impact on the country music genre and is remembered as a talented and influential artist.
