Creed is an American rock band formed in 1994 in Tallahassee, Florida. The band consists of vocalist Scott Stapp, guitarist Mark Tremonti, bassist Brian Marshall, and drummer Scott Phillips. Creed rose to fame in the late 1990s and early 2000s with their blend of post-grunge and hard rock sound. They quickly found commercial success with hit singles like "Higher" and "With Arms Wide Open," earning a dedicated fan base in the process.
Despite their initial success, Creed faced internal conflicts and went on hiatus in 2004. They reunited in 2009 and released their fourth studio album, "Full Circle," which included the track "Rain." While "Rain" only reached #91 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart, it showcased Creed's signature sound and reaffirmed their place in the rock music scene.
