Artist Bio:
Creedence Clearwater Revival (often abbreviated as CCR) was an American rock band formed in 1967 in El Cerrito, California. The band consisted of lead vocalist, lead guitarist, and primary songwriter John Fogerty, his brother rhythm guitarist Tom Fogerty, bassist Stu Cook, and drummer Doug Clifford. CCR achieved immense commercial success in the late 1960s and early 1970s with their unique blend of swamp rock, blues, and country music.

CCR is best known for their hits such as "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," and "Fortunate Son," among others. The band's music often reflected social and political themes of the era, resonating with audiences during a tumultuous time in American history. Despite their relatively short time together as a band, Creedence Clearwater Revival has left a lasting legacy in the music industry and is considered one of the greatest American rock bands of all time.
