Artist Bio:
Creedence Clearwater Revival (often abbreviated as CCR) was an American rock band formed in 1967 in El Cerrito, California. The band consisted of John Fogerty (lead vocals, guitar), Tom Fogerty (rhythm guitar), Stu Cook (bass), and Doug Clifford (drums). CCR gained popularity in the late 1960s and early 1970s with their unique blend of rock and roots music, drawing inspiration from blues, country, and rockabilly.

CCR is best known for their string of hits, including "Proud Mary," "Bad Moon Rising," "Fortunate Son," and "Have You Ever Seen the Rain." The band's music often reflected social and political themes of the era, resonating with audiences during the tumultuous 1960s and early 1970s. Despite achieving commercial success and critical acclaim, tensions within the band led to their disbandment in 1972. Creedence Clearwater Revival's music continues to be celebrated and influential in the rock genre.
