Artist Bio:
Crosby, Stills & Nash (CSN) is a folk rock supergroup formed in 1968. The band consists of David Crosby, Stephen Stills, and Graham Nash, all of whom were former members of other successful bands - Crosby was from The Byrds, Stills from Buffalo Springfield, and Nash from The Hollies. Their self-titled debut album was released in 1969 and included hits like "Marrakesh Express" and "Suite: Judy Blue Eyes". They are known for their tight vocal harmonies and socially conscious lyrics, often reflecting the political and social issues of the time.
CSN's music has been widely influential in the folk rock genre, and they have received numerous accolades including a Grammy Award for Best New Artist in 1970. The trio has continued to perform and record music together over the years, occasionally adding Neil Young to the lineup for a quartet known as Crosby, Stills, Nash & Young. They were inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1997.
