Crossfade is an American rock band formed in Columbia, South Carolina in 1999. The band's original lineup consisted of Ed Sloan (lead vocals and guitar), Les Hall (bass guitar, keyboard, and backing vocals), and Mitch James (drums). They gained popularity in the early 2000s with their debut self-titled album, which included hit singles like "Cold" and "So Far Away".

Crossfade's music is characterized by a blend of post-grunge, alternative rock, and hard rock elements. They have released a total of four studio albums, with their most recent one, "We All Bleed," being released in 2011. Over the years, the band has undergone lineup changes, with Ed Sloan being the only remaining original member as of 2021. Despite the hiatus in releasing new music, Crossfade continues to be active in the rock music scene, performing live shows and engaging with their fan base.
