Curiosity Killed The Cat was a British band formed in 1984. The group's music style was a blend of funk, pop, and new wave, and they gained popularity in the late 1980s. Their debut album, "Keep Your Distance," released in 1987, was a commercial success, reaching the top 5 in the UK album charts and achieving platinum status. The album featured hit singles like "Misfit" and "Down To Earth."
Despite their initial success, Curiosity Killed The Cat disbanded in 1994 after releasing two more albums, "Getahead" in 1989 and "Back to Front" in 1992. The band briefly reunited in the early 2000s for a series of live performances. Curiosity Killed The Cat left a lasting impact on the music scene with their unique sound that combined elements of pop, funk, and new wave.
