Artist Bio:
Cymarron was an American country rock duo consisting of Rick Yancey and Sherrill Parks. The band was formed in the early 1970s and signed with MGM Records. Their most famous hit single, "Rings," was released in 1971 and reached the top ten on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song was written by Eddie Reeves and Alex Harvey and featured a catchy melody and harmonious vocals that resonated with audiences. Despite their initial success with "Rings," Cymarron struggled to replicate the same level of commercial success with their subsequent releases and eventually disbanded in the mid-1970s.

Cymarron's legacy lives on through their memorable hit single "Rings," which continues to be a favorite among fans of country rock music. The duo's harmonious vocals and melodic sound captured the essence of the 1970s music scene and left a lasting impression on listeners. Though their time in the spotlight was brief, Cymarron's contribution to the country rock genre remains significant.
