Cypress Hill is an American hip hop group formed in 1988 in South Gate, California. The group consists of members B-Real (Louis Freese), DJ Muggs (Lawrence Muggerud), Sen Dog (Senen Reyes), and Eric Bobo (Eric Correa). Known for their distinctive sound combining hip hop with elements of rock and funk, Cypress Hill gained popularity in the early 1990s with their self-titled debut album, which featured the hit single "How I Could Just Kill a Man."


Cypress Hill is considered one of the pioneering groups in the genre of Latin hip hop, as they often incorporate Spanish lyrics and themes in their music. They have released several successful albums over the years, including "Black Sunday," "Temples of Boom," and "Skull & Bones." Cypress Hill is also known for their advocacy of marijuana legalization and their iconic skull logo. They continue to perform and release music, maintaining a dedicated fan base around the world.
