Artist Bio:
Da Youngsta's was a hip hop group from Philadelphia, consisting of brothers Taji "Taj Mahal" Goodman, Qur'an "Q-Ball" Goodman, and Tarik "Reek Geez" Dawson. They were active in the early 1990s and were signed to the label East West America. The group was known for their energetic and youthful style, and their lyrics often touched on themes such as street life, social issues, and the struggles of growing up in inner-city neighborhoods.
Their debut album, "Somethin 4 da Youngsta's," was released in 1992 and featured production from notable producers such as Pete Rock and DJ Premier. The album was well-received by critics and fans alike, and the group gained recognition for their lyrical skills and unique sound. Da Youngsta's released a total of four albums before disbanding in the late 1990s.
