Damian "Jr. Gong" Marley, born on July 21, 1978, is a Jamaican reggae and dancehall artist. He is the youngest son of the legendary reggae musician Bob Marley and his mother Cindy Breakspeare, who was a former Miss World. Damian Marley is known for infusing reggae with hip-hop, creating a unique sound that appeals to a wide audience.

Damian Marley released his debut album, "Mr. Marley," in 1996 and has since released several successful albums, including "Halfway Tree" and "Welcome to Jamrock," which won a Grammy Award for Best Reggae Album in 2006. He is also a member of the reggae supergroup, SuperHeavy, along with Mick Jagger, Joss Stone, Dave Stewart, and A.R. Rahman. Damian Marley continues to be a prominent figure in the reggae music scene, known for his socially conscious lyrics and infectious beats.
