Damn Yankees was an American rock supergroup formed in 1989. The band consisted of members from prominent rock bands: Ted Nugent, Tommy Shaw from Styx, Jack Blades from Night Ranger, and drummer Michael Cartellone. They released two studio albums, their self-titled debut in 1990 and "Don't Tread" in 1992. The band achieved commercial success with hit songs like "High Enough" and "Come Again". "High Enough" reached No. 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. Damn Yankees toured extensively in support of their albums, gaining a large fan base in the late 1980s and early 1990s.
Despite their success, the band disbanded in 1996, and the members went on to pursue their individual music careers. Over the years, Damn Yankees has been remembered as a successful collaboration of talented musicians from different rock bands, leaving behind a legacy of catchy rock anthems and memorable performances.
