Dan Peek was an American musician born on November 1, 1950, and passed away on July 24, 2011. He was best known as a founding member of the folk-rock band America, along with Gerry Beckley and Dewey Bunnell. Peek played multiple instruments, including guitar, bass, and keyboards, and contributed vocals to many of the band's songs. He left America in 1977 to pursue a career in contemporary Christian music, releasing several solo albums that reflected his faith.
After leaving America, Dan Peek released several successful Christian music albums, including "All Things Are Possible" and "Doer of the Word." He continued to perform and record music in the Christian music genre until his death in 2011. Peek's contributions to both America and Christian music have left a lasting impact on fans and fellow musicians alike.
