Artist Bio:
Dana (born Dana Rosemary Scallon on August 30, 1951) is an Irish singer and politician. She rose to fame in the 1970s as a popular singer in both Ireland and the United Kingdom. Dana won the Eurovision Song Contest in 1970 with the song "All Kinds of Everything," representing Ireland. This victory launched her music career, and she went on to release numerous albums and singles throughout the 1970s and 1980s.


In addition to her music career, Dana has been involved in politics. She served as a Member of the European Parliament from 1999 to 2004, representing ConnachtΓÇôUlster in Ireland. Dana also ran for President of Ireland in 1997 and 2011. She is known for her conservative views, particularly on social issues, and is a prominent figure in the Irish pro-life movement.
