The band's original lineup consisted of lead vocalist Ted Poley, guitarist Andy Timmons, bassist Bruno Ravel, and drummer Steve West. They gained popularity in the late 1980s and early 1990s with their self-titled debut album released in 1989, which included hit singles like "Naughty Naughty" and "Bang Bang." The band is known for their high-energy live performances and catchy, melodic rock songs.

Over the years, Danger Danger has undergone several lineup changes, with Ted Poley being the most constant member throughout the band's career.
