Danity Kane was an American girl group formed on the MTV reality show "Making the Band" in 2005. The group consisted of members Aubrey O'Day, Shannon Bex, Dawn Richard, Aundrea Fimbres, and D. Woods. Their debut self-titled album was released in 2006 and debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The album included hit singles such as "Show Stopper" and "Ride for You."
In 2008, D. Woods left the group, and the remaining members released their second album "Welcome to the Dollhouse," which also debuted at number one on the Billboard 200 chart. The group disbanded in 2009 but reunited in 2013 for a brief period before disbanding again in 2014. Danity Kane is known for their R&B and pop music sound, as well as their dynamic performances and harmonies.
