Artist Bio

Artist Bio:
Danny & The Juniors were an American doo-wop group formed in Philadelphia in the late 1950s. The group consisted of lead singer Danny Rapp, as well as Frank Maffei, Joe Terry, and Dave White. They are best known for their 1957 hit single "At the Hop," which reached number one on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song became a rock and roll anthem of the era and is still widely recognized today.

Following the success of "At the Hop," Danny & The Juniors continued to release music throughout the late 1950s and early 1960s, with moderate success. Some of their other popular songs include "Rock and Roll Is Here to Stay" and "Twistin' U.S.A." While they may not have achieved the same level of success as their early hit, Danny & The Juniors remain an important part of the doo-wop and rock and roll legacy.
