Artist Bio:
Darlene Love is an American singer and actress who started her career in the 1960s. She is best known for her work as a back-up singer for artists like Sam Cooke, Elvis Presley, and Aretha Franklin. Love gained fame as part of the girl group The Blossoms, and later went on to have a successful solo career. One of her most famous songs is "Christmas (Baby Please Come Home)", which she performed annually on "The Late Show with David Letterman" for over 20 years.


In addition to her music career, Darlene Love has also dabbled in acting. She appeared in several films, including the popular "Lethal Weapon" series, and has also made guest appearances on TV shows like "Law & Order: Special Victims Unit" and "Full House." Love was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 2011 for her musical contributions.
