Daryle Singletary was an American country music singer who was born on March 10, 1971, in Cairo, Georgia. He rose to fame in the 1990s with his traditional country sound, often compared to that of George Jones and Keith Whitley. Singletary released several albums throughout his career, including his self-titled debut album in 1995, which spawned hits like "I Let Her Lie" and "Too Much Fun".


Throughout his career, Singletary released a total of seven studio albums and charted several singles on the Billboard Hot Country Songs chart. He was known for his distinctive baritone voice and traditional country style, which endeared him to fans of classic country music. Singletary tragically passed away on February 12, 2018, at the age of 46.
