Artist Bio:
Das EFX is an American hip hop duo from Brooklyn, New York, consisting of emcees Skoob (born Andre Weston) and Dray (born Willie Hines). They rose to prominence in the early 1990s with their unique, fast-paced rhyming style characterized by their use of intricate wordplay and an unconventional, rapid-fire delivery. Their debut album, "Dead Serious," released in 1992, was a commercial success and featured the hit singles "Mic Checka" and "They Want EFX."

Following the success of their debut album, Das EFX continued to release several more albums throughout the 1990s, including "Straight Up Sewaside" (1993) and "Hold It Down" (1995). While their later releases did not achieve the same level of commercial success as their debut, Das EFX maintained a loyal fan base and continued to tour and perform. They are considered influential figures in the hip hop scene for their innovative approach to rhyming and wordplay.
