Artist Bio:
Dave Dudley (May 3, 1928 ΓÇô December 22, 2003) was an American country music singer known for his truck-driving songs. He was born David Darwin Pedruska in Spencer, Wisconsin. Dudley is best known for his 1963 hit "Six Days on the Road," which reached number 2 on the country charts and became his signature song. He continued to have success with other trucking-themed songs such as "Truck Drivin' Son-of-a-Gun" and "There Ain't No Easy Run."


Throughout his career, Dudley released over 70 albums and had more than 40 charting singles on the Billboard country charts. He was inducted into the American Trucking Association's Hall of Fame in 1971. Dave Dudley's music continues to be celebrated by fans of classic country music and truck driving culture.
