Bowie was also known for his alter ego, Ziggy Stardust, a character he created for his 1972 album "The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust and the Spiders from Mars." Throughout his career, Bowie explored various musical styles, from glam rock to soul, electronic, and experimental music. He was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in 1996 and received numerous accolades for his contributions to music and the arts.
