David Lee Roth is an American musician, singer, and songwriter best known for his tenure as the lead vocalist of the rock band Van Halen. He was born on October 10, 1954, in Bloomington, Indiana. Roth was a key member of Van Halen from 1974 to 1985 and then again from 2006 to 2020. During his time with the band, they achieved great success with hits like "Jump," "Panama," and "Hot for Teacher."
In addition to his work with Van Halen, David Lee Roth has also had a successful solo career, releasing several albums including "Eat 'Em and Smile" and "Skyscraper." He is known for his energetic stage presence, flamboyant personality, and unique vocal style. Roth was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of Van Halen in 2007.
