Artist Bio:
Dawn Featuring Tony Orlando was a pop music group formed in 1970. The group consisted of Tony Orlando, a singer, and Telma Hopkins and Joyce Vincent Wilson, both backing vocalists. They were best known for their hit songs "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree" and "Knock Three Times." Both songs were chart-topping hits in the early 1970s, with "Tie a Yellow Ribbon Round the Ole Oak Tree" becoming their signature song. The group's music was characterized by their catchy melodies and Tony Orlando's distinctive vocals.

Dawn Featuring Tony Orlando disbanded in 1978 after several successful years in the music industry. Despite their relatively short time together, the group left a lasting impact on the pop music scene of the 1970s. Their songs continue to be popular and are often featured in compilations of 70s music.
