Artist Bio:
Dead Or Alive was a British band formed in 1980 by lead vocalist Pete Burns. The band was known for their blend of new wave, dance, and Hi-NRG music styles. Their most famous hit was the 1985 single "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", which reached the top of the charts in multiple countries. The band's flamboyant and androgynous image, as well as Burns' unique vocal style, helped them stand out in the music scene of the 1980s.

In addition to "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)", Dead Or Alive released several other successful singles, such as "Brand New Lover" and "Something in My House". Despite their commercial success, the band faced some controversy due to their provocative and gender-bending image. Pete Burns continued to make music and appear on reality TV shows after the band's dissolution in the early 2000s. Tragically, Pete Burns passed away in 2016 at the age of 57.
