Artist Bio:
Dead Or Alive was a British band formed in 1980 in Liverpool. The band was fronted by lead singer Pete Burns, who was known for his androgynous appearance and flamboyant style. Their music was a blend of new wave, dance, and synth-pop, and they achieved commercial success in the 1980s with hits like "You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" and "Brand New Lover."

"You Spin Me Round (Like a Record)" was their biggest hit, reaching the top of the charts in several countries. Dead Or Alive's music and image were influenced by the glam rock and new romantic movements of the time. The band continued to release music throughout the 1980s and 1990s, with varying degrees of success. Pete Burns passed away in 2016, but Dead Or Alive's music continues to be celebrated for its energetic and catchy pop sound.
