In 1961, Dee Clark achieved his biggest hit with "Raindrops," which reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. The song became his signature tune and solidified his place in the music industry. Dee Clark continued to release music throughout the 1960s, but he never matched the success of "Raindrops." He passed away on December 7, 1990, but his music continues to be celebrated by fans of rhythm and blues and soul music.
