Dee Dee Warwick, born Delia Juanita Warrick, was an American soul singer who was born on September 25, 1945, in Newark, New Jersey, and passed away on October 18, 2008. She was the younger sister of Dionne Warwick and a niece of gospel singer Cissy Houston. Dee Dee Warwick began her singing career in the 1960s and achieved moderate success with hits such as "Foolish Fool" and "I Want to Be with You". She was known for her powerful and soulful voice, which earned her critical acclaim in the music industry.


Dee Dee Warwick's career spanned over three decades, during which she released several albums and singles. She was also a sought-after background vocalist, providing her talents to artists like Aretha Franklin and Wilson Pickett.
