Def Leppard is an English rock band formed in 1977 in Sheffield. The band's music is a blend of hard rock, glam rock, and heavy metal. Def Leppard achieved commercial success with their third album, "Pyromania," released in 1983, which included hit songs such as "Photograph" and "Rock of Ages." The band's follow-up album, "Hysteria," released in 1987, became one of the best-selling albums of all time, featuring hits like "Pour Some Sugar on Me" and "Love Bites."

Despite facing adversity, such as the loss of their drummer Rick Allen's arm in a car accident in 1984, Def Leppard continued to make music and tour successfully.
