Del Amitri is a Scottish alternative rock band formed in 1983 in Glasgow. The band's original members were Justin Currie (vocals, bass), Iain Harvie (guitar), and Bryan Tolland (drums). They released their debut album "Del Amitri" in 1985, which gained them some recognition in the UK music scene.
Their breakthrough came with their third album, "Waking Hours," which included the hit single "Nothing Ever Happens." Del Amitri achieved international success with their fourth album, "Change Everything," featuring the popular tracks "Always the Last to Know" and "Roll to Me." The band continued to release albums and tour throughout the 1990s and early 2000s. Despite a hiatus in the mid-2000s, Del Amitri reunited in 2013 for a tour and subsequently released their seventh studio album, "Fatal Mistakes," in 2021.
