Artist Bio:
Dennis Yost and The Classics IV was an American soft rock band formed in Jacksonville, Florida in the 1960s. The band's lineup consisted of Dennis Yost as the lead vocalist, James Cobb on guitar, Dean Daughtry on keyboards, Walter Eaton on drums, and Joe Wilson on bass. They were known for their smooth sound, incorporating elements of pop, rock, and R&B into their music.

One of the band's biggest hits was "Spooky" in 1968, which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. They also had success with songs like "Traces" and "Stormy." Dennis Yost's soulful vocals and the band's melodic arrangements contributed to their popularity during the late 1960s and early 1970s. Despite various lineup changes over the years, Dennis Yost and The Classics IV continued to perform and record music until Yost's passing in 2008.
