The group consists of core members Dave Gahan (lead vocals), Martin Gore (keyboards, guitar, backing vocals), and Andrew Fletcher (keyboards). Depeche Mode rose to prominence in the 1980s with their dark, synthesizer-driven sound, becoming one of the most successful electronic bands in music history.
The band has released a total of 14 studio albums, with their most notable works including "Violator" (1990), "Songs of Faith and Devotion" (1993), and "Music for the Masses" (1987).
