Artist Bio:
Derek & The Dominos was a British-American rock band formed in 1970 by guitarist and singer Eric Clapton along with musicians Bobby Whitlock, Carl Radle, and Jim Gordon. The band released their only studio album, "Layla and Other Assorted Love Songs," in November 1970. The album is considered a classic in the rock genre and is best known for its title track, "Layla," which has become one of Clapton's signature songs.

Despite critical acclaim, Derek & The Dominos was short-lived, disbanding in 1971 after only one album. The band's legacy, however, has endured with "Layla" being recognized as one of the greatest rock songs of all time. Eric Clapton has continued to perform songs from the Derek & The Dominos era throughout his solo career, keeping the music of the band alive for new generations of fans.
