Destiny's Child was an American girl group formed in Houston, Texas, in 1997. The group originally consisted of Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams. Throughout their career, Destiny's Child achieved massive success with hit singles like "Say My Name," "Bootylicious," and "Survivor." They became one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with multiple Grammy Awards and other accolades to their name. After a successful run, Destiny's Child disbanded in 2006, with each member pursuing solo careers in music and acting. Beyoncé, in particular, went on to become a global superstar in her own right.
