Destiny's Child was an American girl group formed in Houston, Texas in 1997. The original members included Beyoncé Knowles, Kelly Rowland, and Michelle Williams, with various lineup changes over the years. The group found success in the late 1990s and early 2000s with hits like "Say My Name," "Independent Women Part I," and "Bootylicious." They were known for their R&B and pop sound, as well as their strong vocal harmonies and empowering lyrics.
Destiny's Child released four studio albums, including their self-titled debut album in 1998 and their final album "Destiny Fulfilled" in 2004. They won several Grammy Awards and were one of the best-selling girl groups of all time, with over 60 million records sold worldwide. In 2006, Destiny's Child officially disbanded to focus on their solo careers, with Beyoncé becoming a global superstar in her own right.
