Marvin Gaye was an American singer, songwriter, and record producer who is considered one of the greatest artists in the history of soul music. With hits like "What's Going On," "Sexual Healing," and "Let's Get It On," Gaye's smooth and emotive voice captured the hearts of fans around the world. He was known for his socially conscious lyrics and innovative musical style that blended soul, R&B, and funk. Gaye's career was tragically cut short when he was shot and killed by his father in 1984.
