Diana Ross is an American singer, actress, and record producer who rose to fame as the lead singer of the Motown group The Supremes in the 1960s. Born on March 26, 1944, in Detroit, Michigan, Ross embarked on a successful solo career after leaving the group in 1970. She achieved numerous chart-topping hits, including "Ain't No Mountain High Enough" and "Upside Down," and has won several prestigious awards, including a Grammy Lifetime Achievement Award in 2012.


In addition to her music career, Diana Ross has also found success as an actress, appearing in films such as "Lady Sings the Blues," for which she received a Golden Globe Award for Best Actress. She was inducted into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as a member of The Supremes in 1988 and has been recognized as one of the most successful female artists in the history of popular music.
