Artist Bio:
Dick and DeeDee were an American pop music duo consisting of Richard Gosting and Mary Sperling. They rose to fame in the early 1960s with their hit song "The Mountain's High," which reached number 2 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1961. The duo was known for their close harmonies and wholesome, romantic sound that appealed to a wide audience.

Dick and DeeDee continued to release music throughout the 1960s, with several songs making it onto the Billboard charts. Some of their other popular songs include "Tell Me," "Young and in Love," and "Thou Shalt Not Steal." While their commercial success waned in the late 1960s, Dick and DeeDee remained a beloved act among fans of the 1960s pop music scene.
