Artist Bio:
Dick and DeeDee were an American pop music duo consisting of Dick St. John and Mary Sperling. They were active in the early 1960s and were known for their light-hearted and catchy songs. The duo's biggest hit was the song "The Mountain's High," which reached the top 10 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart in 1961. They also had other charting singles such as "Young and in Love" and "Thou Shalt Not Steal."

Dick and DeeDee were known for their harmonious vocal blend and their upbeat, feel-good music. They toured extensively and appeared on popular television shows of the time, such as American Bandstand. Despite not achieving the same level of commercial success as some of their contemporaries, Dick and DeeDee remain a beloved and nostalgic part of the early 1960s pop music scene.
