Artist Bio:
Dickie Goodman was an American music and record producer, best known for his novelty songs that featured "break-in" style recordings. These songs were created by splicing together snippets of popular songs and adding humorous or satirical lyrics to create a comedic narrative. Goodman's most famous work is "The Flying Saucer," a 1956 single that reached number 3 on the Billboard Hot 100 chart. He continued to release similar novelty recordings throughout the 1960s and 1970s, with some of his other popular songs including "Mr. Jaws" and "Energy Crisis '74."

Goodman's unique style of creating music through clever editing and parodying popular songs earned him a dedicated fan base and a lasting influence on the novelty music genre. Despite facing some criticism for his unauthorized use of copyrighted material, Goodman's innovative approach to music production remains a notable aspect of his legacy in the entertainment industry.
