Artist Bio:
Dion & The Belmonts were an American vocal group that formed in the late 1950s. The group consisted of lead singer Dion DiMucci and his friends Carlo Mastrangelo, Fred Milano, and Angelo D'Aleo. They were known for their doo-wop and rock and roll music, and they rose to fame with hits such as "A Teenager in Love," "I Wonder Why," and "Runaround Sue."


Dion & The Belmonts were influential in the doo-wop genre and were popular during the late 1950s and early 1960s. They were inducted into the Vocal Group Hall of Fame in 2000, recognizing their contribution to the music industry. Despite lineup changes and Dion's eventual solo career, the group's music remains popular and continues to be celebrated by fans of classic doo-wop and rock and roll.
