Artist Bio:
Dion & The Belmonts were a successful American doo-wop group in the late 1950s and early 1960s. The group consisted of lead singer Dion DiMucci, known simply as Dion, along with his backing vocalists, The Belmonts ΓÇô Carlo Mastrangelo, Fred Milano, and Angelo D'Aleo. They formed in the Bronx, New York, in 1957 and quickly rose to fame with hits such as "A Teenager in Love" and "Where or When."


Dion & The Belmonts were known for their tight harmonies and catchy melodies, which helped them become one of the most popular doo-wop groups of their time. Their music was characterized by a blend of doo-wop, rock and roll, and R&B influences. Despite their relatively short time together as a group, Dion & The Belmonts left a lasting impact on the music industry and are still remembered as pioneers of the doo-wop genre.
